Is she going to be with him again?

Rai hummed as she cleaned up her house. The kids had been stuck indoors for awhile.

Jared pulled up into the driveway. He had a long day at work and wanted to relax some before he had to go back to the boys and girls club for the basketball game.

Rai started dinner as the older kids watched t.v. and her youngest napped.

Jared walked into the house with the mail in his hands and set his bags down

"Rai Im home."

Rai poked her head out the kitchen. "Hey." She went back to cooking. She didn't realize that John had left his bag at the house when he had came to watch the kids while she ran some errands.

Jared smiled and looked down and noticed a bag on the floor "Rai who's bag is this?"

Rai came out and looked at it. "Oh John must have left it." She said before going back into the kitchen.

"John? When was he over here?"

Rai came back out of the kitchen. "Earlier today. I had a bunch of errands to run so he came over to watch the kids before his shift."

"why didnt you tell me he was going to be here?"

"I didn't expect him to come over. He dropped by to give me the child support payment and explain that he had to split it in two this month."

Jared nodded before walking into the living room

Rai went back into the kitchen and started doing the dishes.

Jared watched the tv with the kids trying to get his mind off of John being there when he wasnt

Rai hummed as she cleaned up the kitchen.



Randy looked at John as he ate. "What do you mean you don't have your bag?"

Jared closed his eyes


"I think I lefted it at Rai's house when I was there today."

Rai started to set the table.


"Wait you went over?"

Jared looked at the kids


"Yeah. I went over to give her a child support payment and she had somethings to do so I stayed with the kids."

"Jr go wake Callie." Rai said.

Jr got up and went to go to Callie's room.


Randy nodded.

Jared got up and went to the kitchen


John nodded

Rai checked on dinner.

Jr helped Callie down the stairs.




"So you going to go get it?"

"I have to man."


Jared got him something to drink

"Okay we'll head over."


Rai went over and stood on tiptoe wrapping her arms around his neck. "Hi." She kissed him.

John nodded getting up


Jared smiled wrapping his arms around her waist "Hi." He kissed her back

Randy finished his food then paid the tab. He headed out to their squad car.



Rai smiled. "So how was your day?"
